This CD contains selected PDF copies of plans of "Old Ironsides" from the late 18th century to 2010. Included are research reports on Constitution's structure and appointments, which will be of help to model ship builders and general researchers seeking information on the ship's construction and subsequent changes over 200+ years.

The disc provides all musical selections required for change of command and retirement ceremonies, and other occasions as appropriate. Throughout its existence, the Navy Band has produced music of the finest quality in honor of the men and women who devote their lives to serving the United States of America. Music for Honors and Ceremonies features 78 tracks, all created with the purpose of being used when a military band is not available. The sounds present on this album, which contains marches, bugle calls and more, are a direct reflection of the musical talent of the United States Navy Band. Directed by Lieutenant Commander John R. Known as "The World's Finest" the U.S. Navy Band is the Navy's premier musical representative. Established in 1925, the Band has participated in 18 Presidential Inaugurals and presents honors at White House ceremonies and memorial services at Arlington National Cemetery. The band also presents public concerts in the metropolitan area and tours the country annually. This album is dedicated to the spirit of those who gave their lives in the service of their country to achieve Victory at Sea.

The title track of this album, "Seawolf March," is a rousing and fitting tribute to USS Seawolf, the first of a new breed of submarines, past and present, who have been on station or under the sea for 100 years. The entire album reflects the exhilaration of being at sea in service to the United States of America. Recorded by The United States Navy Band, the selections on Seawolf represent some of the finest concert band repertoire performed by the Navy's most outstanding, talented musicians. Songs on the album include many poignant, stirring pieces like "Vienna Philharmonic Fanfare," "Hammersmith" and "Folk Dances." The United States Navy Band recorded Light Cavalry Overture in order to pay tribute to 80 years of service to America. Each track was specifically chosen because it is a fine example of some of the works that have been in the band?s repertoire since its inception in 1925. Often referred to as old warhorses, these pieces have been performed countless times over the years and even today are loved by performers and audiences alike. All transcriptions featured on this album date from the first decades of the 20th Century. This period marked the height of the concert bands popularity with the general public. The United States Navy Band plays beautifully on each piece, which, with two exceptions, is associated with opera. Works on the album include Oberon Overture, Poet and Peasant Overture and The Sorcerers Apprentice. This album is a fantastic representation of the talent, dedication and professionalism that is characteristic of the United States Navy Band in every endeavor.

Performing with such artists as Boots Randolph, Charlie Daniels and Vince Gill, the U.S. Navy Country Current Bluegrass Quartet was formed in 1973 as a specialty unit of the Navy Band. The Navy Band is a lot more than just Anchors Aweigh, military marches and sea chanteys. Navy Band music is also acoustic bluegrass as performed by the acclaimed Country Current Bluegrass Quartet. Fantastic performances are the norm for this remarkable group of sailors and this album is no exception. These tracks were selected from recordings completed in 1996 and 1999.
